Senior Manager – Private client or OMB background
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You will be someone who can work as part of our close-knit team of advisors, being able to both make suggestions and learn from others as we work together to find solutions to the tax issues that our clients face.
You will bring to the team:
You will have specialist interest in an area of tax plus an awareness of other key areas. You will have confidence to provide advice but will be open enough to ask for support where you need it. You will embrace the development of your technical skills and will keep abreast of the latest emerging issues. You will have demonstrated this by being CTA and/or ACA qualified and will have proven experience, most likely within a “top 10” or large independent firm.
A Client Service ethos
You will put the client first, sometimes by telling them unwelcome news. You will try to understand what they need, not necessarily what they have asked for. You will deliver advice in a way which the client can understand and you will present solutions to the client in a commercial context.
You will respect the talents of the team as they will respect yours. You will work collaboratively with them to deliver the best we can for our clients. You will seek support from, and give support to, the team. You will be aware of the specialisms we offer and take the opportunities to introduce these to clients as appropriate.

WHAT THE ROLE LOOKS LIKE
As a Senior Manager within the team, you will take the lead on numerous client matters, bringing your analytical skills and experience to find appropriate tax solutions. You will work closely with our Partner group in managing client relationships and ensuring that the work we do is technically excellent and delivers commercial reward for the firm. You will have the opportunity to develop your role into new areas as well as to develop the offering of the firm. You will also guide and mentor other members of the team.
