The
TACS Partnership was founded in 1992 to offer an alternative
source of high level tax advice to those who did not want to
face the large charge out rates which are typically charged by
the major accounting firms.
Founder
partner Stephen Willcox (the former
senior tax partner in what is now one of the “Big Four”
accounting firms) led a drive to recruit experienced
professionals to grow The TACS Partnership through the 1990s.
All the current TACS Partnership team have experience in a
variety of large professional firms, industry and HM Revenue and
Customs.
In 2005
David Blake and Ian Roberts became partners in the business.
David was formally a senior tax manager with a major
international accounting firm and specializes in corporate
taxation issues. Ian was the former North West head of
employment taxes at a “Big Four” firm with further expertise in
tax investigation work.
The
partnership has continued to grow over the last few years with
continued recruitment of additional specialists from both the
profession and from commerce. Details of the team can be found
by clicking on "Our Experts" in the menu on the left.
The
TACS Partnership client base now includes individual high net
worth individuals, taxpayers with enquiries from HM Revenue and
Customs, accountancy firms seeking specialist advice for their
clients, and limited companies, both family owned and fully
quoted (including two companies within the FSTE 100).
